Judging Moot Court at NSU.

I know a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes one picture is worth a thousand photos. Here are some of the community events I've attended since March.  Some, but not all of the many events I attend each year have announcements, tickets or flyers. Since these events are from March, the Orange Blossom Festival in Davie and the Butterfly Festival in Coconut Creek, my community, are not part of this group. But I certainly enjoyed them!

Attorney Leonore Greller views the judging of moot court competitions as essential to helping young law students who aspire to be litigators.   In 2014, one of Leonore's first Florida mentee young lawyers, an NSU graduate, asked if Greller would be a volunteer justice for  the upcoming 2014 Nova Moot Court Society Competition.  The rest is history.  Since then, Leonore Greller has judged each of the three or four competitions or oral arguments held at NSU each year,  sometimes judging as many as nine rounds over three days.  The Florida Bar approves a maximum of one round every three years for Continuing Legal Education credit.  Moot Court is one way seasoned lawyers can be of real service to law students and the legal community.
